Lexmark E450dn A4 Mono Laser Printer | 33S0700

Lexmark E450dn Overview and Key Numbers

The Lexmark E450dn is a compact A4 mono laser printer built for busy workgroups that share one device. Specifically, it prints at up to 33 pages per minute (33ppm) on A4, so it clears everyday documents quickly. Additionally, it delivers up to 1200 x 1200 dpi, which means sharp, professional text on every page. Because the first page arrives in as little as 7 seconds, you rarely wait around for short jobs. Lexmark’s own part number for this model is 33S0700.

Please note that Lexmark rates this model at 35ppm on US Letter. Consequently, the 33ppm figure above reflects the UK A4 rating, which is the correct one for UK buyers.

Lexmark E450dn Print Speed and Output Quality

The E450dn reaches up to 33 pages per minute in A4. So it handles reports, letters and everyday paperwork without holding up your workflow. Furthermore, 2400 Image Quality enhancement sharpens text and fine detail beyond the base resolution. Meanwhile, a 400 MHz processor and 64MB (max 320MB) of memory move jobs through steadily.

Integrated automatic duplex prints both sides of the page without any manual flipping. Therefore, you save paper on longer documents and cut running costs over time. In short, two-sided work becomes the default rather than a chore.

Lexmark E450dn Connections and Paper Handling

You can connect the E450dn over 10/100 Ethernet, so several people share one device across the network. Alternatively, Hi-Speed USB 2.0 gives you a direct desktop connection, and the parallel port covers legacy hosts. Because of this, it adapts easily to almost any office setup.

The E450dn holds 250-sheet tray + single-sheet manual feed, and it expands to 800 sheets with an optional drawer. Meanwhile, the 150 sheets output bin keeps finished pages tidy. It also supports PCL 5e, PCL 6, PostScript 3 and PPDS emulation, so it stays compatible with most operating systems.

Lexmark E450dn Compared With Other Models

The E400 Series divides clearly by connectivity and capacity. The E450dn prints at 33ppm with duplex and Ethernet. Meanwhile, the E460dn steps up to 38ppm, and the E460dw swaps the parallel port for built-in Wi-Fi. Finally, the E462dtn matches the E460dn but ships with an extra 250-sheet drawer, giving 550 sheets as standard.

Lexmark E450dn: Refurbished and Tested In-House

Our own technicians refurbish every unit we sell. We don’t outsource this step. First, we run test prints and check output quality closely, looking for streaking, banding, ghosting and poor toner adhesion. Next, we verify registration and fuser performance, so every page lands square and the toner bonds properly. We then feed paper from each input source in turn. Additionally, we test the duplex path on every unit. We also test all connections, and we check consumables and counters for both functionality and quality.

Afterwards, we reset each unit to factory defaults wherever the model allows it, so no previous configuration carries over to you. Finally, we clean every machine thoroughly, inside and out, and grade it before it ships. For the full picture, you can read more about us.

Each printer ships with a 90-day return-to-base warranty, including a 14-day return window. This covers you from day one. You’ll find full terms on our terms & conditions page. We also offer free delivery to mainland UK addresses. So the price you see is the price you pay.
