Brother HL-2130 Compact Mono Laser Printer HL2130ZU1

Brother HL-2130: Compact, Affordable Mono Laser Printing

The Brother HL-2130 is a compact desktop monochrome laser printer for home users, students, and light office use. Specifically, it prints at up to 20 pages per minute, with the first page out in under 10 seconds from ready mode. As a result, it suits anyone who needs reliable, everyday black-and-white printing without the running costs of inkjet.

It connects via USB, so setup is straightforward — just plug in and print. Additionally, the 250-sheet paper tray handles everyday print jobs without constant refilling. A manual feed slot also lets you run envelopes, labels, or heavier media whenever you need to.

Sharp Output and Low Running Costs

The HL-2130 uses electrophotographic laser technology with a print resolution of up to 2,400 x 600 dpi. So it delivers sharp, clean text on every page, with no ink drying time and no smearing. Furthermore, N-in-1 printing lets you fit multiple pages onto a single sheet, and Toner Save mode stretches each cartridge further — so running costs stay low.

It also operates quietly in ready mode, using just 0.8W in sleep. Moreover, Energy Star approval and Blue Angel certification back up its low-power credentials. Because of this, it’s a practical, low-maintenance choice for a home office or study where noise and energy use both matter.

Refurbished and Tested In-House

Our own technicians refurbish every unit we sell. This step never goes to a third party. First, print quality and resolution accuracy get a full check. Next, we test paper feed reliability and USB connectivity. Toner and drum system performance also receives a thorough inspection. Then, each unit gets a full clean, inside and out, before it ships. For the full picture, you can read more about us.

Each printer ships with a 90-day return-to-base warranty, including a 14-day return window. This means you’re covered from day one. Additionally, you’ll find full terms on our terms & conditions page. Moreover, we offer free delivery to mainland UK addresses, so the price you see is the price you pay.
